Market-wise script and query evaluations by seasoned professional

Description

You've spent months writing your script and now you're eager to present it to prospective buyers. But is it ready? Considering the large time and money investment you've made (and are about to make selling it), it makes good sense to be sure of where your script stands and how to position it in the marketplace.

Five reasons to send your script to Dave Trottier
1. Dozens of his clients have sold their work. Two have won Nicholl Fellowships and one a National Play Award. (See testimonials below.)

2. He has sold or optioned ten screenplays, with three productions. He understands the market.

3. He has taught and motivated writers for over a decade. Although he has succeeded as a screenwriter, his greater talents are in analysis, coaching, and helping writers reach their potential.

4. Dave's book, The Screenwriter's Bible, now in its fourth edition, is one of the top-selling screenwriting books in the world, used in dozens of university classrooms.

5. His exhaustive written Master Evaluation & Consultation is complemented by a one-on-one story conference that allows you to follow-up on the written evaluation and get the answers you need to revise and sell your script.

Two types of consultations
MASTER EVALUATION & CONSULTATION
This deluxe service includes a thorough, market-wise 10-15 pages written critique of your script plus a one-on-one telephone conference of up to an hour. Dave's exhaustive evaluation will help you strengthen the structure, bring your characters to life, improve your dialogue, correct your formatting, and enhance your commercial prospects. Dave tailors his comments to your individual script. This service includes the 14-point analysis described below.

14-POINT ANALYSIS
Your script is evaluated on 14 points with a rating (excellent, good, etc.) and concise paragraph for each area: spine of the story and plotting, heart of the story and relationships, foreshadowing and unity, conflict and action, characterization, character development and motivation, dialogue, theme, narrative description, formatting, believability, title and concept, and commercial appeal

Turnaround
Allow 3-4 weeks. All evaluations are done by Dave himself. For 1-2 weeks RUSH service, add $125 to the regular fee.
