Interests
I love movies of all kinds really. I do love drama. In my films. I prefer to have it out of my life. I also love dark gritty actiony films. I love foreign films as well. And comedies. Romanitc comedies as well. Ah, eff it, I just love movies. Unless they are painfully bad.
I love to ride roller coasters. Sometimes. Depends on my mood really. There was a year where I absolutely loved to ride them. Then the next year I was terrified of them.
I like to fish. But only for about twenty minutes. Then it gets boring.
I love music. All kinds really. But country. Unless it's Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams (which is really more folksy) and Dolly Parton. The rest all blow. I love music from every decade. From Mozart, to The Andrews Sisters, to No Doubt, to Missy Elliott. I love music.
Books
I used to love to read. Until my job sucked all my life out of me and now I just fall asleep when I read. I liked the Johnny Cash bio I read. That was a lot of fun. I could hear his voice... very calming. I love Mario Puzo. Jodi Picoult. Gary Paulsen and Beverly Cleary when I was a kid. Dan Brown's written a couple of good ones.
Movies
Eh, I think I said it already. I love all movies basically. But bad ones. And even some bad ones, I really liked. Tomb Raider (the first one) is a guilty pleasure.
All time favorite would have to be: The Color Purple. Hands down the best movie ever.
But generally I like most movies.
Except for West Side Story... I HATE that movie.
Television
There's a few shows I couldn't live without. Friends. Alias. The Office. Used to, I couldn't miss Grey's Anatomy, but now that my job has taken that away I just don't watch it anymore.
About Me
I'm quite boring. I write screenplays. On occassion. I love movies. A lot. I have about a bajillion DVD's in the collection. I guess it's actually 541. So I guess that makes it a DVD library rather than a collection. I guess it also makes me lame. But not in a disabled way.
I work in the glorious hell that is retail. My hopes are to finish up the next great box office movie and tell the job to kiss my you-know-what. The only thing I'll miss about retail is the people. Plenty of characters come in to my life everyday through that job.
Goal
Let's see. Sell a script. Film a movie. Buy my mom a big house and tell her job to shove it by way of the loudspeaker to all the shoppers. Pay off all of my credit card debt as well as any debt my parents have. Travel. And I'd like to see the play Wicked! as many times as I possibly could in my lifetime. I also would like to do some charitable work somehow. Something useful with my money.
