One word to describe Stephen would be filmmaker, equally at ease with budgets and logistic as he is with the creative aspects of filmmaking. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he spent six years in the Air Force as an electronic technician before attending film school. After graduation from Columbia College, he went to work for Metromedia, which later became FOX Television during his tenor as Production Supervisor.
Stephen left FOX to co-write and produce the feature film, "Murder-In-Law". After completion of the film he went freelance, producing music videos and commercials for companies like Propaganda Films, DNA Films, O-Pictures, Cream Cheese and Picture Vision for several years until co-founding Two Headed Monster, where he operated as Head of Production, overseeing all production and post production projects for clients like McCann-Ericsson, HBO, 20th Century Fox, Fox Television, Sony, and Showtime.
Stephen left Two Headed Monster to pursue his interests on the creative side of the business. He has written over a dozen screenplays including his recently optioned supernatural thriller, "God Squad". He has directed the photography on music videos, commercials, documentaries, shorts and a feature film. Stephen continues to write and to produce freelance for commercial, television, and feature projects, recently co-producing the feature film "Lost In Plainview" and writing and producing the television pilot "Lessons From the Legends" for Rehearsals.com. He has recently signed with Zero Gravity Management and his thriller screenplay, "Peeker" is a 2008 Page Award Bronze Prize Winner.
Stephen has worked on productions in Russia, Japan, Australia, Mexico, and all over the United States, and has valuable experience in editing, special effects, color correction and audio mixing supervision. Stephen's broad expertise and extensive experience make him unique in an industry of specialists.
