About Me
I grew up on a farm in south central Iowa. At the University of Iowa I majored in Communications, emphasis Broadcasting & Film Production. While studying there, I landed an entry level, seasonal position at Universal Studios Hollywood. I then received a Certificate in Writing for Film & Television from UCLA Extension. By then I was working full time at the studio, making my way up to Production Operations Coordinator for Universal, and have held several co-current positions along the way. I am now on my way to getting my Avid Certification. I have discovered that one of my strengths is pitching. I have participated in a number of short film and writing contests, and am now making the move to branch out.
