Good times this weekend at the Screenwriting Expo in downtown Los Angeles. My fiancee Lisa (former StoryLink community manager) spread the word about our upcoming project L.A. Arts, while my brother Devon (actor/director) helped us launch Screenwriting Pro.

With a background in development, Shane Scalisi is an experienced interactive producer and co-founder of entertainment start-up L.A. Arts. Based in Los Angeles since 2000, he has concentrated his work on the converging media of film, television and digital.
Currently a senior advisor to The Writers Store, Shane previously served as Director of Production, responsible for development and production of numerous interactive properties including professional network StoryLink, online school Writers University, international contest Hollywood Gateway and ecommerce flagship Writers Store.
Prior to joining The Writers Store, he was an interactive producer at Eric Eisner's digital entertainment start-up Romp.com and also developed interactive content for Lord of the Rings Online creator Turbine Games, FrameForge 3D maker Innoventive Software and music school Rockstar Academy.
A native New Yorker, Shane lived in NYC during the late 90s where he worked in development at UGO Entertainment and later at award-winning creative agency The Sloan Group, working with premier clients including MTV Networks, ESPN, AOL and AT&T.
As a student and interactive designer at UMass Amherst in 1997, he founded eWrestling.com, a popular pay-to-play fantasy sports network.
