I am huge fan of movies - particuarly old movies. Screenwriting of course!
I love to read all genres but am huge fan of young adult novels and mysteries. I also read a lot of books on writing and screenwriting. Some of my favorites on screenwriting are: Writing Movies by Gotham Writers' Workshop, Screenplay by Syd Field, Save the Cat! by Blake Synder and The Screenwriter's Bible by David Trottier. Two of my favorite books on fiction writing are: Writing and Selling Your Mystery Novel by Hallie Ephron and Bullies, Bastards and Bitches by Jessica Page Morrell.

"Plot springs from character...I've always sort of believed that these people inside me -these characters- know who they are and what they're about and what happens, and they need me to help get it down on paper because they can't type" - Anne Lamott
