I am creative... how do they expect me to make sense?
Neeta Mittal has a Master's degree from University of California, Berkeley. She has worked on various films as Production Coordinator, UPM, Assistant Director and Producer. Her first short film was nominated by the California Governor’s committee for Media Access Awards. It is a film about dance and disability. It has been well received, both in US as well as abroad. Following the short, she developed a feature film script. It is a comedy on the Kama Sutra, set in Victorian England. Casting director Susie Figgis (Charlie and the Chocolate Factor, Bride and Prejudice) is officially on board. The other project in development is based on the life of the Indian astronaut, Kalpana Chawla, who died in the space shuttle Columbia disaster.
I have two immediate objectives: 1) Get a director attached to the British project. 2) Get development funding for the astronaut project.
