About Me

I hail from upstate New York. Majored in TV Production at Grahmn Junior College in Boston in 1973. Worked at WKTV in Utica, NY and then WCIX in Miami, FL. Worked with late veteran TV producer Kermit Schaffer (known for 'Bloopers') who was a mentor. Met legendary comic book artist/writer Jack Kirby (X-MEN, FANTASTIC FOUR, HULK et. al.) in 1975 and moved to Los Angeles in 1981 where I had a professional and personal relationship with the "King" which resulted in a screenplay, FOREVER AMORE and the character I created, Noctvrnvs™.

I have a passion for the medium of comic books and have a substantial collection thereof. Because of that, two articles I wrote for The Jack Kirby Collector and a class I taught entitled 'Comic Books - An American Art Form' at Loyola Marymount University, I am a noted Comic Book Scholar (http://web.english.ufl.edu/comics/scholars/directory/uz.shtml#zuccaro).

One JKC article was a 'story behind the story' of FOREVER AMORE and the other was about the night I introduced Jack to my other childhood idol, Frank Zappa entitled "Audio Meets Visual".

Goal

To create and produce TV series and feature films based on comic book concepts as well as the 'usual'. I am currently developing a drama series "CIA -Distant Visions' and two sitcoms (net and cable), "Crew 753" and "Spank You Very Much".

I also would like to become involved with music biZ as well.
