Interests
I am a political junkie, a film buff with a growing personal collection at home, and as a hobbies I sketch and write music in my free time. But I love to work, and I love screenwriting, so "free time" isn't much in my vocabulary anymore!
About Me
With a degree in political science as well as significant study in criminal justice, I spent several years working in national political offices as well as many campaigns. After many years as a freelance print journalist -- including as a weekly columnist in Maryland and as an editor for an independent news group in DC -- I branched out into radio and did on-air interviews and stories for Pacifica Radio, ultimately serving as a producer for a weekly program in D.C. While working for a public policy lobbying organization on Capitol Hill -- doing media relations and writing campaign ads -- I wrote my first screenplay and optioned it in 2008, and now have multiple projects lined up.
Goal
I will continue writing and selling top-quality screenplays for film and television, while branching out as a producer. Also, another little goal just happens to be developing the best, most popular sci-fi television series since Star Trek.

Writer for both film and television. Recently optioned a screenplay for major film franchise. Working on a film adaptation of an exciting fantasy book series, an original crime thriller, and an original sci-fi television series.
