"The only handicap one has is the one you put on yourself"
I love travelling with a passion and interacting with the locals. I've learned so much about people outside of America in my short life and it's quite amazing, really. I love movies very much and I grew up with all kinds of genres and types because of my dad. I see films as an artform and it can greatly influence and move people. I also enjoy cooking, reading, making short movies/music videos, etc.
My favorites are To Kill a Mockingbird, Wuthering Heights, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Waiting for Godot, The Book Thief, Eragon, Homecoming, etc. I like all kinds, so I'm pretty flexible.
Where do I begin with this? ANY Mel Brooks film (High Anxiety, Spaceballs, etc.) King of California, To Kill a Mockingbird, all Lord of the Rings, In Bruge, Batman, Batman Returns, The Dark Knight, Iron Man, A Christmas Story, Elf, Pan's Labrinyth, Stardust, The Motorcycle Diaries, Juno, Rain Man, Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Kite Runner, West Side Story, What Dreams May Come, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, Memento, The Goodfellas, Amelie', The Valet, A Very Long Engagement, Cinema Paridiso, Les Parapluies des Cherbourg (The Umbrellas of Cherbourg), Chocolat', French Kiss, Forrest Gump, Platoon, Life is Beautiful, Ratatouille, Run Fat Boy Run, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, White Chicks (haha)...etc.
My list could go on for ages. I love all kinds, so feel free to recommend some to me. :)
I don't really watch T.V. I enjoy movies way more, but here are a few I like.
Sgt. Bilko!
Heroes
Family Guy
Older Simpsons episodes
Futurama
My Name is Earl
Any mystery/crime show
Planet Earth was great
Friends
Band of Brothers
I'm a 17 year old living overseas at the moment, but once I get back to the states, I will start getting my work out there for those who are willing to see.
I am aspiring to become a screenwriter as soon as I leave high school this year. I've practiced a lot and even had the chance to write my school's production of "Peter Pan." At the moment, I am working on about 3 different screenplays right now and I am still learning all I can about it. I realize I am still young and inexperienced in that area, but that's why we learn and why I am here. I want to see my work on the screen someday, whether that screen be big or small.
