I have many interests such as gardening, cooking, shopping, reading, and watercolor painting, but my priority interest is writing. Writing is the blessing that keeps my life filled now that I'm in retirement, and nothing brings me greater joy than watching characters come alive before my eyes on the monitor screen.
(It's really interesting how one thinks they know what they're going to write, but the characters actually write themselves--for the most part developing their own personalities according to their role and the conflicts they deal with in the book.)
Wall of Color (ISBN:1-4241-2441-7) was inspired by a young biracial student in Jeanette's fifth grade class whose confidences gave Jeanette a look into a child’s pain arising from the devastation of rejection. It is an ethnic romance novel historically set in New Orleans (1953), and richly unfurls with deep human passions, as young Rosemarie Delrio searches for identity in a segregated society. Wall of Color is a story that will sweep you back in time and touch your humanity with the conflicts in Rosemarie's life as she falls desperately in love with a biracial man while engaged to a white man. While Rosemarie tries to unravel the chaos in her life, the suspense of all the battles she must fight will keep you turning pages.

Conquered Heart (ISBN:1-4241-3887-6) is a historical romance set in Anglo Saxon England. This novel was inspired by Jeanette’s love of English history, its special appeal coming from the days of knights and chivalry. The violence, conflicts, and passion of the period offer abundant inspiration. Conquered Heart is a passionate love story woven with breath-taking suspense. When Edreia becomes the personal prize of Mikkel, captain of the Norman army, she struggles between hate and love as her wanton heart betrays her in a tempest of passion and lust with her captor that will leave a trail of conflicts and unexpected danger from enemies who want to murder her.

When Justice is Served (ISBN: 1-59824-376-4) is a romantic suspense novel packed with drama and excitement as the plot unfurls with a climatic suprise ending. A heartwarming story of tender love and sometimes bitter challenges, it is woven with a young woman's emotional battle to cope with the devastating trauma of being sexually assaulted, stabbed, and left for dead. When Justice is Served is a riveting story of bravery, hope, struggle, and redemption in a love story unlike any other.

Jeanette is a writer of romantic suspense.
From early on in life she loved books like friends and companions. Reading was a joy that offered a journey to places around the world and into the rich drama of characters' lives. Reading the works of other writers gave her a love of words and a hunger for writing. Fulfilling her dream by writing many books, Wall of Color was her first publication, which was followed by Conquered Heart, and When Justice is Served.
My goal in life is very simple now that I've retired. First, my priority is staying as healthy as I possibly can be. Secondly, I love to write, and hope to maintain the ability and motivation until I'm 100 years old. (I think I'll need your prayers. )
My most immediate goal is to publicize my name and the titles of the books I've written, and over time, draw a strong readership far and wide.
