Interests
I entertain myself by playing my electric drums and my Djembi drum. I also like playing the blues on my blues harp. I used to know how to play the spoons, before spooning was a dirty phrase. I like tatoos, as a form of expressing something that only you know about. So lets see the Michael Angelos out there. My interest is screenwriting and the pursuit of a career in it. I am an adventure nut and like to travel to exotic places where the tourists DON'T go. My family is everything to me and is a huge motivator in propelling my writing engine. I enjoy religion without the politics, give peace a chance and you'll be a better person for it.
Books
Lots of great screenplays, the book Saturday(my head still hurts), How to pitch your script(Michael Haughe). A handful of real good ones, but I do need to read more. I read the newspaper regularly and research on the net about subjects that facsinate me. I'm more the inquisitor, so I'll read books that invite questions.
Movies
Great movies with a great message. I also enjoy a movie that can move me emotionally. Wow, Mr. Sensitive, Yep, I like movies. Just to name a few; Braveheart, The Rainmaker, Before the Devil knows you're dead, Forrest Gump, True Romance, The Juror, The Edge, Heaven's Prisoners and Kung Fu Panda.

About Me
14 years ago, I went through a life changing event that led me to writing and making a couple short films. I was taught by an instructor whom obtained her masters in screenwriting from UCLA. I've almost completed my third feature. I enjoy it, I get lost in it. Its great to be your own creator. When its all finished, the fun gets more serious. To be honest, I've only attended one pitch fest, but I did get quite a few pitches in. I didn't feel comfortable until the third, but its all part of evolving into a great story teller. It is necessary in order to get people to listen. I've learned a lot since then and will do as many rewrites as necessary to make my screenplays sing sweet music. My wife is my biggest inspiration, next to this website. Inspiration is my fuel, and this site is my gas station.
Goal
My goal is to be able to pursue this career on every level. I will do everything to get producers to read my stuff, including, donating a kidney if necessary. Can you live with one lung? So far, I'm still feeling out my best genre for writing, but they are all about the story telling angle. I want to capture a reader by the short and curly's (can you say that on here?) and keep their attention till the very end. Did I mention, I was born next to a camp fire? This year is my year, I heard it from a very good source. I also know that hard work and dedication is key to being successful at anything. Its actually very simple when you look at the ingredients.
