About Me

I’ve been writing for 25 years, but I had my first break as a trainee BBC Script Editor in London back in the mid 1990’s. I worked as a Script Editor for the BBC and ITV for the next five years, doing full terms on several big popular mass market shows. I also did long periods of development script editing for the BBC and World Productions, a top indie production house.

In 2000 I moved into writing full time. You can check me out out on wwww.imdb.com if you want full details of my produced work, and behind the scenes I’ve been commissioned to write scripts and treatments for a lot of different tv shows and most genres of drama over the years.

Hi Phil:
Benjamin suggested I contact you re: loglines. I just finished my first screenplay and threw a suggestion for one to him and he suggested one for me. Questions aren't supposed to be used, are they? Are they only for movie posters, etc.?
I am having to work on with a very small budjet ass you might remember from emails re: your screenwriting packages. So, I appreciate any advice you can offer.

Hey Philip -- Screenwriting Goldmine

Los Angeles meets UK -- I knew it was bound to happen.
What a fantastic fusion. Welcome.
Some of my favourite screenwriters are from UK.
I'll be watching the DVD "Little Britain" soon. It got rave reviews in UK. Since your profile is very pro and seasoned, maybe you could let us know what you liked about this script? I heard that "LITTLE BRITAIN" is an amazing script, is this true? Can't wait to read it AND watch it.

I heard you worked on some great TV scripts in UK. What are some of the wisdom you can pass over to aspiring writers.

Best Regards
Ben
