My interest is more in the "new media" category; I publish 4 websites: CaliforniaGreenSolutions.com; MovieindustryMarketing.com, SunshineByDesign.com; and BackyardNature.com ... and produce business workshops on green and conservation strategies. Love books...but they require so many trees ;-)

Movies

Love movies about places I can't go -- travel adventures, musicals and distant cultures.

Television

I enjoy fireside storytelling -- but have a hard time finding programming that doesn't promote violence or sex. I like British shows like Rosemary & Thyme...love good scenery! The knowledge of place is so enlightening!

I'm a journalist, entrepreneur and a feisty over-50 woman with insatiable curiosity about our world and how we live sustainably on it. I love to collaborate to create something out of a shared vision. I also produce nature videos (1 for kids)and more in progress about green business. Have 2 feature scripts that deserve another pass!

Thanks for your comment on my profile. I apologize for the delay in responding.... I'm a bit new at this stuff.

To answer your questions about our programming at BLTnetwork.com...we are currently developing some English language programs tailored for Japanese PC and mobile users. Just to give you an idea of the scale of the market, 30% of Japanese want to study English on a digital device. Given that there are over 80 million mobile phone subscribers in Japan, I feel there is a lot of potential for language programs and for other edutainment products. We're always looking for good ideas.

FYI... we are an environmentally-concerned business committed to reducing our carbon footprint by focusing on online distribution.
