About Me

Aside from my work on the Pitchfests, and my freelance work, I also continue to write on spec as much as possible, and make every effort to keep my writing tool sharp.

I am also involved in the operation of Cinemapolis, one of two non-profit theaters operated by the 7th Art Corporation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the belief that film is an art form, and should be treated as such. We strive to expose the community to independent, foreign, and documentary films.

Working for 7th Art helps nourish my love of film.

Professional Experience

Freelance Screenwriter
2005 - Present

I have been doing rewrites, adaptations, scene work, and coverages for the last several years, in addition to writing my own stuff on spec.

Executive Director
2004 - Present

I work alongside Signe Olynyk on The Great American and Great Canadian Pitchfests. My duties include everything from one-on-one interaction with participants to the decision-making and implementation of Pitchfest strategies.
