I started writing for TV 20 years ago with a spec sold to Spenser: For Hire, and I've been working ever since. I've been a freelancer and a showrunner and everything in between, I've taught screenwriting and TV writing around the world, and I've written for two different dolphins in one season -- fortunately, only one of them talked. Also, I've run four marathons.
I currently teach screenwriting in UC Riverside - Palm Desert's creative writing MFA program and TV writing at Writers University. I am writing my third Psych novel, The Call of the Mild. The first, A Mind is a Terrible Thing to Read was published by NAL in January of this year; the second, Mind Over Murder, comes out in July.
