Brad Schreiber is author of five books, including What Are You Laughing At?: How to Write Funny Screenplays, Stories and More (Michael Wiese Prods.) and Stop the Show!: Insane Incidents and Absurd Accidents in the Theater (Da Capo/Perseus). Death in Paradise: An Illustrated History of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner (Running Press/Perseus) led Schreiber to create the cable TV series North Mission Road, which ran six seasons on Court TV (now truTV). He has been a journalist at Entertainment Today since 1995. His story on documentarian Errol Morris and his Oscar-winning documentary The Fog of War, won Schreiber a fellowship to the National Press Foundation in Washington, D.C. He writes as well for Huffington Post. Schreiber has won awards from the Edward Albee Foundation, National Audio Theatre Festivals, California Writers Club, Dorset Theatre Festival, KASA Screenwriting Competition and others.
