I'm in my mid-30s, living in Macon, Ga. I work for The Macon Telegraph as a general assignment reporter. I was a finalist for the ABC/Disney Screenwriting Fellowship in 2002-03 for "1066." That script also earned a bronze award for Best Historical Drama at 2003 WorldFest. My screenplay, "Nightstrike," was a quarterfinalist at the 2006 Austin Film Festival and a quarterfinalist in Creative Screenwriting's AAA Contest in 2007. It was later optioned.
I carry dual US/UK citizenship, which is handy in pitching to British prodcos, since I qualify as a UK filmmaker for tax breaks and such.
I also cover entertainment and blog about TV at tvguymacon.blogspot.com.
Sell a screenplay. Meet a nice girl I can take home to Mom and Dad.
