Smartest guy in Hollywood (just ask me, I'll tell you)
I'm interested in great stories, particularly those I write. I'm also interested in Anne Hathaway's phone number unless Laura Linney dumps that dork she's marrying and decides I'm a better bet, in which case, give her my phone number, it's OK.
Anything written by that guy Skip Press, and some others.
I watch them all the time.
I watch way too much of it. You do, too, admit it. Hell, I even watch "The View," how patethic is that?
(Sorry, I couldn't afford to pay a publicist to write my bio...)
Skip Press began his Hollywood career by winning $14,000 in cash and prizes on the NBC game show "Knockout" and subsequently enjoyed a year's early retirement. During this hiatus, he wrote his first novel and also learned to write screenplays. His first film story was a sale.
Since then he has sold and had optioned many feature film scripts, written for kids magazines like Disney Adventures and TV shows like Algo's Factory (staff writer, UPN) and won awards and Who's Who listings for various things. His young adult novel A Rave of Snakes was the lead title for the "You Solve It Mystery" series and nominated as a "Recommended Book for the Reluctant Reader" by the Young Adult Library Services Association. He has published dozens of books, with his most recent being the third edition of How To Write What You Want & Sell What You Write for Barnes & Noble Books.
Following three editions of his Writer's Guide to Hollywood Producers, Directors and Screenwriting Agents (Prima),in 2004 Press published The Ultimate Writers Guide to Hollywood. He wrote two editions of the Complete Idiot's Guide to Screenwriting and it was published in Russian in 2004. His "Your Screenwriting Career" http://www.screenwritingcourse.com), is available in over 1,200 schools via Thompson Learning.
Press has made many appearances on radio and television, and regularly speaks at writers' events and conferences in Hollywood and across the U.S.
My goals in life include several million dollars in the bank, fabulous international success as the most beloved writer on the planet, a close personal relationship with Anne Hathaway for three consecutive days, and world peace.
