About Me

Born and raised in Texas, I began writing at age eight and haven't stopped since. Favorite topics include dance, travel and entrepreneurial business.

After graduating from Boston University's honors program with a degree in Communications and the Arts, I worked for the Center for Defense Journalism, monitoring defense and foreign affairs during the Gulf War.

An interest in international relations has always influenced my work, although now I incorporate another great passion, the arts, into my writing. I have worked as an arts and entertainment reporter and editor for the Boston Herald and Boston TAB, and have freelanced for publications including the New York Times, the Sunday Times, The Irish Times, the Houston Chronicle and the Houston Business Journal.

I have traveled extensively throughout Asia, Africa and Europe, and currently live with my husband in Dublin, Ireland, freelancing for newspapers and magazines in the United States and Europe.
