PR/Marketing Consultant, video script writer and freelance journalist by day (Google "Joanne L. Harris" for samples), feature film and documentary script writer by all other hours of the day, night and weekend.
Three scripts have made QFs in contests; one in PAGE International, one in FADE IN and The Scriptwriter's Network. One script acheived Top 10% in Austin Film Festival (2007).
Four feature scripts currently being marketed in LA.
Goal
Write full-time as a feature film writer (and maybe some TV). Produce my own film(s), particularly a documentary on Parkinson's Disease. In 2008, I shot my first documentary short in Germany, and am finally starting post-production on it! The content involves the history of 2 handwritten books that survived WWII, and the stories and information they hold about the tiny village of Oberlinxweiler.
