About Me

So now, I am writing again. I am writing for the American Stage and the American Cinema. I would not say "self-taught" as, I have attended College graduate level writing classes, and, I learn EVERYDAY from the other writers, directors, producers, and, most of all the actors I surround myself with. Yeah, that's about it. And, one more thing, as hard as it is to get this stuff down, it really is like wheelwrighting and playwrighting, you know, BEATING IT OUT, so, I prefer to be known as a scriptwrighter,playwrighter,screenwrighter.

Journalism has made me some money. I have written sports professionally and I was a Photo-Journalist for the LOUISIANA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD for four years. I went to Panama C.A. with eleven other guardsmen and women from Louisiana and I WAS THE ONLY ONE TO RECEIVE A "LETTER OF COMMENDATION" with "THREE ENDORSEMENTS"--that means that the Officers and NCOs--that I worked with thought highly of me. I value that probably more than anything. I can't go in to what we did, but the election was going on in PANAMA, we would see a "Colonel X" moving thru the building at Fort Clayton, my superior officer was--get this, and quite true, Major "John Smith". Not much in that, but, when the first Major "John Smith" rotated back to the Pentagon, and a replacement came in, the first Major "John Smith" just gave his name tag to the second guy who became, Major "John Smith". The second Major "John Smith" roatated out too and when he left, he was replaced by another guy from the Pentagon named, you guessed it, so I am maybe not the Scriptwrighter I think I am, yeah, Major "John Smith".

Oh, now I am STUDYING THE CRAFT OF SCRIPTWRIGHTING, which includes Screenwrighting for the American Cinema, Playwrighting for the American Stage, and, you guessed it again, SCRIPTWRIGHTING.
