To visit each and every one of the 134 countries listed in the last United Nations census. I have already travelled through about 20% of them, but that still leaves a lot of room for inner-planetary exploration. And a whole lotta food to sample!

Anything from Chinua Achebe to Margaret Atwood, James Baldwin to Dan Brown, James Clavell to Bryce Courtney, Charles Dickens to Alexandre Dumas, Jamaica Kincaid to Stephen King, Gabriel Garcia Marquez to Toni Morrison, Michael Ondaatje to Flannery O'Connor, James Patterson to Jodi Picoult, William Styron to John Sandford and anything by America's greatest living writer - John Updike.
