Description

The film school I went to was primarily white, therefore there was not enough understanding of the issues and realities that minorities face. BUT! I don't like classifications so i am just going to say that we are all people made up of different identities and are weaving in the multicultural madness of various cultures.

If you have a story that involves counter-culture, that unspoken voice that seeks to tell the story of the people in the shadows, then you are welcome. Nobody needs classifications and overgeneralized archetypes/stereotypes. Everyone is different and every person has a different way of telling their side of the story, so if you think you can be open to this, that is only the beginning. This is not a place for some poser to come in and be like--oh i'm multicultural, I have substance now, I can make up for years of my people's stereotypical portrayals, so I will write that multicultural story. Don't do that...because you are only perpetuating the same stereotypes but in a modern fashion by desperately trying to understand something that can't be yours because it is not a part of your reality or your identity.

People need to write so all people can understand, not so they can make up some multicultural bullshit just to make it seem like they are educated.

Nobody bring an ethnographic story please!
