as our guests tell you how some our most enjoyable comedies came to

Here is some info about our guests:
Diane Drake's screenwriting credits include the Paramount romantic
comedy "What Women Want", starring Mel Gibson, and "Only You",
directed by Norman Jewison,
with Robert Downey, Jr. and Marisa Tomei. Before turning to
screenwriting full time, Diane was Vice President of Creative Affairs
for Academy Award-winning director-producer Sydney Pollack's Mirage

California at San Diego.
Simon Kinberg has written for Warner Brothers, Disney, Sony, and
Dreamworks working with the likes of Steven Spielberg, Jonathan

His writing credits include the sci-fi hit "Jumper"(which he also
produced), "Sherlock Holmes" (the highest grossing Christmas Day film
of all time) which was directed by Guy Ritchie. He cowrote "X-Men:
The Last Stand", the most successful of the hero trilogy. His final
thesis project for film schools was the original script "Mr and Mrs
Smith." The film was released in 2005, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina
Jolie. The film went on to become one of the hundred most successful
films of all-time.
