Description

Hi all,

Don't miss this opportunity!! Come meet with us at the Great American Pitchfest and come to our workshop- this is one class you won't want to miss.

Monika Skerbelis and Rona Edwards will be giving a free lecture/workshop as part of the STORYLINK ALLSTARS at the Great American Pitchfest this Saturday, June 21st at 9 am. The lecture is "What happens to your Screenplay When it's Submitted to a Studio" and will provide an overview of the world of feature film development. Be prepared. Understand the process. Be savvy!

What happens when the screenplay leaves the writer’s hands and enters the studio system? Learn the secrets of what each player at the studios, production companies and agencies do in order to move a project up the ladder into the world of development and eventually, the greenlight. Participants get the inside scoop as they learn about the importance of loglines, coverage, weekend reads and gain the necessary inside information about the story departments at studios and production companies. They will learn how the agent and manager fit it into the process as well as the way the system works.

Presented by authors & producers, Rona Edwards & Monika Skerbelis of ESE FILM WORKSHOPS ONLINE, a global online film school, this seminar provides a good foundation for participants and is inspired by their highly successful online course, "Screenplay Development from the Inside Out," an intensive five week workshop based upon their critically acclaimed book, "I Liked It, Didn't Love It" (Screenplay Development From The Inside Out.

Edwards and Skerbelis will also be available for consultations throughout the day Saturday afternoon - so take advantage of their expertise as Studio Executives, Production Company Executives, film producers and industry insiders in order to cultivate the next step on your ladder to success.

"Seeking Rona and Monika's consultation, I was able to get my script written, from treatment to final draft, in 6 weeks and win "Best Television Movie Script" in the first festival I entered. My script is currently in pre-production. Couldn't have done it without the help of Rona Edwards & Monika Skerbelis. Thanks, ESE"
