How does one identify, approach and enroll the right mentor? How does one utilize them once they are enrolled? Do you need a mentorship program to secure a terrific mentor?

Join us for the SFAF Mentorship Workshop for answers to these questions, and a hands-on workshop designed to give you tools for securing a mentor who makes a big difference in your career. Panelists Leslie Lindeman and Burnadean Jones, and moderator Shawn Tolleson, have each enrolled powerful, supportive mentors using both traditional and outside-the-box methods.

Leslie Lindeman is a writer. His script, The Last Real Man, has Wayne Wang attached to direct. His web series, You Call This Dinner?, is being produced by Trevor Albert and James Keach (Walk the Line). His powerful mentor letter to Oscar-nominated writer Scott Frank (Get Shorty, Minority Report), resulted in a lengthy mentor meeting filled with advice and insight.

Burnadean Jones is an actress, educator and graduate of Princeton University and USC. She recently booked guest starring roles on Melrose Place and NCIS. She has appeared in guest starring roles on The Closer, Criminal Minds and Monk as well as a recurring role on the top-rated show Bones, to name a few shows.
