The upcoming ESE FLM WORKSHOPS ONLINE course, “Creating a Production Company,” is a six-week online workshop designed to help producers, writers, directors and actors successfully create a shingle in Hollywood. This is not a “how to produce a movie” course but rather an innovative look at how to set up a company, the systems necessary to facilitate a production company, finding material, making contacts with the right companies, studios and/or networks, pitching projects to those companies and successfully managing a creative production company.
The online workshop will begin on February 20 thru March 26. The cost of this six-week course is $350.00.
This class will cover such topics as:
· The Production Company and Producer’s role;
· Develop skills and systems to aid and function as a production company;
· Developing relationships within the Hollywood Community as both buyer and seller;
· The best way to find material, writers and directors;
· Creating a strategy in order to sell your material.
