Description

A weekend of fun in the mountains...just two hours outside of Los Angeles. Big Bear Lake Film Festival screens independently produced feature films, short films, student films, High School Student films, documentaries, animation and a Screenplay Competition. There are screenwriting seminars and panels, Cinematography Showcase, Lifetime Achievement awards are presented to professionals in the industry, Opening Night reception and premiere film, Wrap Party and Filmmmaker Awards Ceremony.

Film and Screenplay Competition is held the weekend of September 14-16, 2007. Screenplay Finalists are read by professionals (agents, managers, produers) in the film industry. Film jury awards are viewed by professionals working in the film industry who are helpful to filmmakers.

The festival has a strong film industry presence. Honorary Lifetime Achievement Awards are presented to directors, producers, writers, cinematographers, production designers and actors. Panels and workshops are presented with professional agents, managers, producers and film executives as guest speakers.
