Scriptwriters Network is proud to present a panel of producers and development executives from studios and film and TV production companies around town. The panel includes Lionsgate Sr. VP of Production, John Sacchi (PRIDE, EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, THE COOKOUT, etc.); New Line Cinema VP of Production, Jeff Katz (SHOOT ‘EM UP, SNAKES ON A PLANE, NORMAL ADOLESCENT BEHAVIOR, etc.); Shelley Zimmerman, Sr. VP, Scripted Programming Warner Horizon Television (SMALLVILLE, ONE TREE HILL, WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU, NIGHTMARE ROOM) and other industry notables. Panelists will not be taking pitches or accepting scripts. A Scriptwriters Network moderator will facilitate discussion on the development process in depth: what the industry looks for in a screenplay, how development executives and producers work with screenwriters, how a story goes from script to screen and much more.

TIME & LOCATION: Charlie Chaplin Theater at Raleigh Studios, 5300 Melrose Ave. (between Bronson and Van Ness). Doors open at 1 pm, with the speaker to begin at 1:30. Free to SWN members and employees or Raleigh Studios. Non-member admission is $15.00 ($10 for members of WGA, Women in Film, FIND, FIN, or Jeff Gund's Info List). NO RSVP REQUIRED, BUT BE SURE TO MENTION "SCRIPTWRITERS NETWORK EVENT IN THE CHARLIE CHAPLIN THEATER.” Enter through the Van Ness gate. Parking is available for $5 on the studio lot; there's also metered street parking.
