What marketing platforms do you use for distributing your product/project? Results?

I use CustomFlix.com... which just changed its name to CreateSpace.com -- but find it of marginal value. Their link with Amazon isn't very professional...but could really be good if they improved database exchange of images, etc.

Direct promotion on my website is the major promotional tool at this stage.

Some friends and I just started up a digital media business here in Japan. We're currently focusing on Japanese 3G cellular technology to distribute free English language media with embedded hyperlinks back to our website. We're still in an R&D stage but with 30% of Japanese wanting to study English on digital devices, and 80 million web-enable mobile phones out there, we think our marketing prospects are pretty good. I'll keep you posted on our results.

Best wishes on your cell-phone marketing, David. Ester Dyson, a new media visionary, said on the Charlie Rose Show just last week that the global market is cell phone distribution of content -- only the US is stuck on desktop computers. Mobile is tomorrow's platform.

THat seems to be the case with all American products, we're always a step behind. I think we just started using 3G cell phones, while the the rest of the world had it for a lot longer.
