only the title on the front page?

does anyone know the reason why we are only suppose to put the title and not any contact information, including the "by (writer)" portion?

Is this to keep any possible sway on the readers part to keep it completely fair? In case it lands into someone's uncle's lap?

The readers have to be unbiased. A name can reveal your sex, ethnicity, age even at times. They want all writers to be on the same level playing field.
