Description

Novel Competition to be judged by the Arc Angel Story Analysis System at Zirdland.com - NO entry fee.

Writers who have completed an unpublished (or self-published) novel can compete in the Zirdland Novel Competition for a $1,000 prize. The contest opened on August 8th - to coincide with the Olympics. While the athletes battle it out in Beijing, writers may enter their manuscripts for a chance at the grand prize. To enter yours, visit: http://www.zirdland.com There is NO entry fee. You maintain all your rights to the work. No strings. Take the cash and go back to writing.

As far as we know, this is the first writing contest to be solely judged by computer. Our Arc Angel Story Analysis program scans a novel, script, poem, or article and generates an in-depth guidance summary - helping you understand where your work needs editing to make it attractive to the market. It goes beneath the words and digs into the sub-text, looking for contextual meaning then graphs the emotions of your characters as the story unfolds, charts out the character arcs, displays gaps in the plot-line, shows climaxes, vectored sub-plots, paragraph level "luminosity" and thematic continuity.

The patents were filed just months ago, and we want to give the Arc Angel a good workout before we offer the tool to our members. The competition is FREE to unpublished writers and we're hoping to discover one very well-written novel.

Competition standings can be tracked minute-to-minute with a downloadable desktop widget available on the competition entry page.
