The 14th Annual International Family Film Festival affirms that, since the beginning of time, "Great Stories Bring Families Together." With that theme as a slogan, IFFF launches on February 26 and runs through March 1, 2009, at the Raleigh Studios, Hollywood, CA.
As is tradition, the festival features premieres and film screenings, the Screenwriters Showcase, Panels with industry professionals, and lots of opportunities to network with agents, producers, writers, distributors, and working professionals in the film industry. Not only is this a great place to have your film screened or your script read, the festival also provides filmmakers an opportunity to conduct market research directly with their audience.
Producer Pam Voth of the IFFF 2008 Best Feature Documentary The Little Red Truck says, "The IFFF award has really been an instrumental door-opener as we continue to add cities to our theatrical release. We are continually grateful to have received this recognition from your organization. Thank you."

Along with Awards for the Best Films and Screenplays, the IFFF presents the most coveted Award of all: the Top Applause Award (the audience favorite).
The Film Awards Ceremony for the festival will be on March 1st. This year, the IFFF is pleased to be honoring the legendary creative artist and animator Phil Roman with the "Friz Award" for a Lifetime of Achievement. He will be joining such legendary peers as Chuck Jones, Roy E. Disney, Charles Schulz, and of course, the Awards' namesake, Friz Freleng.
On February 28th, the Screenwriters Showcase will present a live reading of the twelve Finalists screenplays. This performance is prepared by working professional actors who offer the audience an interpretation of these winning screenplays. This has been a highlight of the IFFF annually. Following the Showcase, the Ceremony for the IFFF Screenplay Awards will be presented.
