Who to Contact to Obtain Rights, When Is it Necessary?

Hi everbody:
I want to write a short screenplay bassed on some characters from some shows that were on Comedy Central. Does anyone know how I would get in touch with people from the show to get permission? I ihave tried writing to Comedy Central to ask them if or when the shows will return with no reply. However, their cancellation sstaus is confirmed on IMDB.
I sure would appreciate any help in this direction.

RE: 'ADVICE' about rebooting Sophocles
I haven't had a chance to try the suggestions from various people who have posted their advice to reboot Sophocles. I recommend you research these options and as I stated in July. Ask a computer technician to assist you.
Remember, there are always risks when downloading and especially making changes to any software programs.
