What They Really Want
What does Holly Wood really want? new ideas, fresh faces, controversy or dedicated hard working broke screen writers who deserve a break here or there? None of thee above they want money! which is not the root of all evil not having money is. So my fellow writers keep that in mind when you put your "blood sweat and fears" into your next project ask your self what do they really want?

You're right. They want to know they will make money off of your idea. But in return what do we want? To make money from our idea or Screenplay too. It goes hand in hand.
I think you guys are right. But we're all in the same boat, rowing in the same direction; to the bank :)

Hollywood is like a woman. Excuse me women while I insult you. Hollywood just wants to make money. But it's a sexy business and we all want in. You can't fault it. You can't even hate it. Nothing good comes from it. The only thing you can do is endure it and manage to keep your artistic integrity and originality that is specific to you. Community, like you find here on Storylink can make all the difference. Screenwriting is a lonley process. Community can help reinvigerate and inspire.
You are right on man. THis is true although Rozetta couldn't have said it any better. If you were born to write then allow God's gift to bless others but, use it wisely. I look forward to seeing your work.
